| 抄録: | This paper is a continuation of our Japanese translation of Getica (History of the Goths) written by Jordanes in Latin. Here we publish the chapters 67 to 130, the section in which the author narrates especially the relationship of the Goths with the Roman empire in the third century. As a short introduction, we discuss the importance of newly discovered fragments of Dexippus's work for the study on the Crisis of the third century and the use of historiographical sources by Jordanes. |
