陰莖折症の1例

Abstract

Fracture of the penis or "rupture of the penis " is a rare lesion . There have been only eight cases reported in the literature in Japan up to 1958. In the present case of a 24-year-old man, the cause of th e lesion was a blow by deskedge when he fell down in his bedroom with erect penis. Removal of hematoma, suture of the ruptured tunica albuginea and plastic operation of the penile skin were performed immediately. The result was satisfactory with no pain, no deformity and no functional damage. The cause of the lesion in 32 cases collected from literatures were classified and the treatment discussed.
