睾丸破裂の1例

Abstract

A case of traumatic rupture of the testicle without laceration of the sc r o tal skin is added to the 12 cases reported in Japan. The patient was a 17 year-old student, with a history of having been kicked in the scrotum while playing with his friend. Five hours following the injur y , exploration of the scrotum was performed and a oblique rupture of the tunica albuginea was disclosed. The tunica albuginea was closed b y suture and the testicle permitted to remain. One month later, the injured testicle was found to have become slightly s m aller, though normal testicular sensation was present. Biopsy showed slight atrophy of the testicle.
