高度の水腎症を呈した骨盤腎症例

Abstract

A 36-year-old man came to hospital with a chief complaint of uncertain abdominal pain, particularly of colic-like pain. The left kidney was located in the pelvic cavity, showing severe hydronephrotic signs and a cystic appearance. Transperitoneal nephrectomy was pe r f ormed. The kidney weighed 830 gm. containing a large number of small stones (47 gm. in all). The renal arteries branched off from the inferior part of the abdominal aorta, and the renal veins were demonstrated to run ascending into the inferior vena cava almost normally situated on a phlebogram. This case was proved to be the 58th case of this condit i on in our country. None of them, however, complicated such severe hydronephrosis. A brief statistical observation on these 58 cases was made.
