高Ca血症及び腎結石を合併せる腎盂癌の1剖検例

Abstract

An autopsy case of carcinoma of the renal pelvis associated with hypercalcemia and a renal stone is reported. The patient , a 60-year-old man, who has been known to have a renal stone in the right kidney for the past thirty years, was admitted to our clinic with chief complaints of general malaise and dull backache in the right side. He had a significant hypercalcemia , hypercalciuria and anorexia. Diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism was made, but no abnormality in the parathyroid gland was found on exploration of his neck. At auto p sy squamous cell carcinoma of the right renal pelvis with metastasis to the liver, but without to bones, was found associated with staghorn calculi. Literature was reviewed and discussion was made.
