泌尿器科領域に於けるリンパ管造影法の研究 (第1報)

Abstract

Lymphangiographyw as performed in 93 cases w i t h urological diseases especially with malignant neoplasms such as bladder tumor, carcinoma of the prostate and uterine cervix. The method was discussedw ith special reference to the contrast media, and several cas e s were presented. Ly m phatics cintigraphy with the radioactive media was also mentioned. 1) Aqueous contrast medium is less useful than an oil me d ium, M oljodol, because of prompt absorption and rapid leakability around the lymphatic vessels, although the latter occasionallyc auses reaction upon the lymph nodes. 2) The pedal-lymphangiographyl, e adin g to the pelvic and retroperitoneal lymphadenography, was known to be quite significant in showing the presence or absence of the metastatic lesionst o those areas and decidingt he method of the treatment, radical lymphchanneld issection or irradiation. 3) Lymphangiography of the penis, at the present time, has several points should be improved. 4) Scintigraphy with the radio-active media was also attempted in the series of this study. It seems to be of value not only as an diagnostic aid of the metastatic lesions but as the irradiation therapy.
