抄録: From the purpose of inducing renal tumors Wistar strain rats were fed on CE-2 powder food supplied by "Nihon Clea" containing 10% of lead acetate. Ren8.1 and serum activities of lactic dehydrogenase (LDH), alkaline phosphatase (AlP), leucine aminopeptidase (LAP) and total acid phosphatase (TAP) and LDH isozymes were determined for the subsequent 12 months period. The results are summarized as follows. 1. No significant difference on LDH activities in serum and the kidney tissue was demonstrated between experimental group and controls. 2. LDH isozyme pattern of the kidney tissue showed higher values of M type and the fraction III and lower value of H type in the experimental group than that in the controls. In the serum, however, the experimental group showed lower M type and the fraction III and slightly higher H type than that in the controls. 3. AlP activity of the kidney tissue was definitely lower in the experimental group than in the controls. Serum AQP activity was also slightly lower in the experimental group than controls. 4. LAP activity of the kidney tissue in the experimental group definitely showed a decrease in accordance with the extension of the experimentai period. However, no significant difference of serum LAP activity was demonstrated between the experimental group and controls. 5. A slightly high TAP activity was found in the kidney tissue of the experimental group, but no difference in the serum was demonstrated between the two groups on TAP activity.
