| 抄録: | The therapeutic result of urinary tract infection with cephalexin derived from cephalosporin C is reported as follows. Cephalexin was administered to 17 cases of simple acute urinary tract infection. The drug was remarkably effective in 14 cases, effective in 1 and non-effective in 2. While in 8 cases with chronic or recurrent urinary tract infection, it was remarkably effective in 2, effective in 2 and non-effective in 4. Dosage was divided into two groups, namely cephalexin 2.0 g per day was administered (every 6 hours) in one group and cephalexin 1.5 g per day (immediately after each meal) in another group. No special side effect was recognized. |
