腎孟腫瘍の動脈撮影

Abstract

Six cases of renal pelvic tumor were studied by renal selective angiography. In all the cases diagnosis of renal pelvic carcinoma was confirmed histologically. Angiographic findings were reviewed in an attempt to find characteristics which would distinguish this entity from hypernephroma and other diseases of close resemblance. Of these, 4 cases showed angiographic characteristics which were enlarged pelviureteric artery, fine neovascularity, fine b lush, vessel narrowing and absence of A-V shunting. In some cases, therefore, a combination of urography and renal angiography makes it possible to distinguish between renal pelvic tumor and adenocarcinoma but angiography have not yielded a conclusive result.
