抄録: Drug sensitivities on 1, 157 strains of organisms isolated from the urine of 733 outpatients with urinary tract infections at the Department of Urology, School of Medicine, Kanazawa University during the period January 1968 to December 1972 were investigated. We divided the patients into the uncomplicated infection group and the complicated infection group with the structural abnormalities. 1) For E. coli, gentamicin, dihydroxymethylfuratrizine, colistin, nalidixic acid, cephalosporin, ampicillin were highly sensitive. And the drug sensitivities were remarkably reduced in the strains isolated from the complicated infection group. 2) For Staphylococcus, gentamicin, cephalosporin, nitrofurantoin, ampicillin, kanamycin were highly sensitive. And the drug sensitivities were reduced in the strains isolated from the complicated infection group. 3) For Proteus, gentamicin, kanamycin, carbenicillin, nalidixic acid had high sensitivities. 4) For Klebsiella, gentamicin, colistin, kanamycin dihydroxymethylfuratrizine had high sensitivities. 5) Pseudomonas showed high sensitivity to gentamicin and colistin, but was generally resistant to the other drugs. 6) For Enterococcus, ampicillin, dihydroxymethylfuratrizine had high sensitivities. 7) There was no significant chronological change of drug sensitivity in recent five years.
