| 抄録: | A case of leiomyosarcoma of the scrotum in a 58-year-old man is presented. The tumor measured 3×3.5×4 cm and had been present as a slowly enlarging mass in the left scrotum for six months prior to excision. Wide local excision was performed. Light microscopy demonstrated the typical interlacing fascicles of neoplastic cells with eccentric cigar-shaped nuclei. A review of the world's literature revealed this to be the sixth reported case of leiomyosarcoma confined to the scrotal wall. Patient is doing quite well without any evidence of recurrence at present almost ten months following surgery. |
