膀胱癌に対するブレオマイシン加温熱療法

Abstract

Physiological saline solution containing 30 to 90 µg/ml of bleomycin was used as a perfusate in 13 patients; 7 with superficial bladder cancer and 6 with deep bladder cancer, at 43°C for 1 to 3 hours. Prior to treatment, the nature and extent of the tumor was determined by cystoscopy, intravenous urography, bimanual palpation under anesthesia, and biopsy specimens of the tumor. The therapeutic effect of the hyperthermic perfusion was evaluated by the same manner. Partial tumor regression was obtained in 5 patients; 2 patients with superficial tumors and 3 with deep tumors. Two patients with intractable gross hematuria were controlled successfully. Most of the patients had bladder discomfort during or after perfusion, and 3 patients developed acute pyelonephritis.
