前立腺肥大症に伴う排尿障害に対するL-グルタミン酸・L-アラニン・アミノ酢酸混合製剤の臨床効果

Abstract

Thirty-eight cases of benign prostatic hypertrophy were treated with L-glutamic acid, L-alanine and aminoacetic acid mixtures and evaluation of effects of the mixture was performed after administration for 12 weeks. Improvements of complaints including difficulty on urination, sensation of urinary retention were observed in 63% of the cases, however, residual urine volume and prostatic size estimated by rectal palpation were changed in lesser percent of the cases. No remarkable side effect was noticed during and after administration of the mixture. It was concluded that the mixture might be suitable for treatment of early stage of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
