消化器癌を原発とする転移性精索-副睾丸腫瘍の2例

Abstract

Two cases of the metastatic tumor of the spermatic cord and the epididymis originating in the gastrointestinal cancer were presented here. The first case was a 69-year-old male who had a history of operations for both thyroid and gastric cancer two years previously. He was admitted with a complaint of the enlargement of right scrotal content. As a mass was suspected of tuberculous or neoplastic lesion, right radical orchiectomy was carried out. Histopathological examination of both spermatic cord and epididymis revealed the metastatic adenocarcinoma from the gastric cancer. The second case was a 44-year-old male with extended sigmoid cancer with left ureteral involvement. About a month after the left nephroureterectomy and Miles' operation, bilateral inguinal masses became apparent and then bilateral radical orchiectomy was performed. Histopathological diagnosis was made as metastatic tumors of bilateral spermatic cords from the sigmoid cancer.
