| 抄録: | The principle and history of diagnostic ultrasound in urology are described briefly. Diagnostic ultrasound was first introduced by Wild, Howry and Kikuchi et al, Contact compound scanning which is generally available today was developed by Donald. Transrectal ultrasonotomography was originated by Wild & Reid and was improved for practical use by US. Transurethral scanning is also a very useful procedure in urology. Ultrasonic Doppler method and ultrasonically guided puncture technique are being noticed as promising means to be employed in this field. |
