| 抄録: | It is remarkable that some place names of larger administrative units than the prefecture, appearing in our MSS., are not found in the Ch'ien Han Shu, though this seems due to the date of the compilation of the dynastic history. By virtue of the Etsin-gol MSS. the present author confirms the view of some Ch'ing scholars, who pointed out the ommission in the Han Shu of such prefectures as Pan-hsien (畔縣) in Tung Province (東郡) and Hsi-fang-hsien (西防縣) in Shan-yang Province (山陽郡). |
