漢簡二題 (特集 漢代綜合研究)

Abstract

Several studies were done upon the calenders in the Etsin-gol MSS. (居延漢簡). So far the theory of Maspero has been predominant about the identification of the calender--4th year of Yung-shih (永始), and as for the date of the first year of Yung-hsing (永興), the theory of Chavannes has come to be very weak.(Herewith we should refer to ethnological sources as well.) Now Etsin-gol MSS., as many as ten thousand, have been classified into about six hundred groups by their pits. Examining the chronological width of each group together with some statistical method, I have concluded that their groups distributed the normal distribution on curve, and condensed 20 yeaas width, and also tried to find a clue to the successive chronology among those groups.
