抄録: | With the creation of the Han dynasty and resultant pacification of the country the "sword" was being gradually replaced by the "pen." The role of Confucian scholars who became political advisers of Kao-tsu, founder of the dynasty, must be taken into account in connection with this tendency. Hitherto the influence over Han politics of Taoism seems to have been over-emphasized, while the role of these Confucians has been understimated. Lu Chia and Lou Ching were such Confucians. Though the former seems to have been somewhat under influence of Taoistic thought and the latter in favour of the Legist school, they were Confucians in the essentials of their thought, and contributed to the establishment of a new political philosophy to meet the needs of the times. |
