| 抄録: | The Shên-t'se-chün is famous in history for its great inftuence over the politics of the T'ang (唐). It was the most powerful body in the Chin-chun ((禁軍), the Imperial Guards). But originally it had been created not as a detatchment of the Imperial Guards, but only as one of the frontier guards. Why did it come to beIong to the Imperial Guards? The author tries to present an answer, tracing its career through the An-Shih (安史) Rebellion and the Tibetan's invasion of China. |
