抄録: The purpose of this paper is to understand the position of Chinese military officers from the late Ming to the early Qing by considering the movement of the Qing's provincial military commander Jin Shenghuan who rose in revolt in Jiangxi in the 5th year of Shunzhi 順治 (1648), and was put down in the next year. I describe briefly that Jin Shenghuan before the 5th month of the 2nd year (of Shunzhi) when he surrendered the Qing troops, put together region by region the process that it controlled Jiangxi suppressing the restration power of Ming dynasty from the 6th month of the 2nd year to about the 10th month of the next year. And I try to research the background of the revolt mentioning the affairs about Jin (the conflict with Wang Tizhong 王體忠, the discord with Sun Zhixie 孫之獬) in Jiangxi after the 6th month of the 2nd year. And I take "it as the direct cause of revolt that the Qing dynasty changed the policy for Chinese military officers in the 4th year and civil officers (for example, Jiangxi provincial governor 巡撫 Zhang Yutian 章于天) looked down on them, and I refer to the progress of revolt according to the regions. So, I point that the Qing dynasty controlled all parts using the power of military officers like Jin, but it exeluded their domination in order to build up the power base and realized the real unity.
