Abstract: Asymmetric aldol reactions of α-amino acid derivatives via memory of chirality were developed. Chiral oxazolidones with contiguous tetra- and trisubstituted chiral centers were obtained in 78-94% ee by the asymmetric aldol reaction followed by intramolecular acylation.
