| 抄録: | Pseudocyclopia muranoi, a new species (Copepoda: Calanoida) from shallow water on the Japanese Pacific coast is described. This is the first record of the genus in the Indo-Pacific region. This species is distinguished from congeneric species by its relatively long antennule, urosome with numerous scales, and structure oflegs 4 and 5 of both sexes. The swimming behavior and gut contents of the new species were also observed. |
