| Abstract: | From the late period of September to early period of October in 2012 (early autumn), appearance time of terrestrial hermit crabs was observed in Shirahama town, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. As a result, they appeared only in dark time from early night to early morning (at least around from one hour after sunset to about two hours before sunrise) and never appeared in daytime. 2012年9月下旬から10月初旬にかけての初秋, 10日間毎日, 和歌山県白浜町の一箇所でオカヤドカリ類の出現時刻を調査した．その結果, 彼らは日中には出現しないが, 夜間から早朝まで(少なくとも日の入り後の約1時間後から日の出の約2時間前まで)現われた |
