Abstract: Plagusia immaculata crab of which most dorsal body parts are covered with a green alga Ulva intestinalis was found in November, 2012 as a very rare encounter at Shirahama town, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. The crab is the second record from Japan.
緑藻類のボウアオノリが背面のほとんどを覆ったミナミイボショウジンガニ(日本からの第2記録)が和歌山県白浜町の海岸で2012年11月に出現したので記録する.
