ブータン王立大学御一行の京都大学訪問に寄せて

Abstract

2012年9月24日から9月29日, ブータン王立大学(Royal University of Bhutan, RUB)総長(Vice Chancellor)ペマ・ティンレー氏, 同大学言語文化研究所(Institute of Language and Culture Studies, ILCS)所長ルンテン・ギャツォ氏, 同大学科学技術カレッジ(College of Science and Technology, CST)学長チェキ・ドルジ氏, 同大学シェラブツェカレッジ(Sherubtse College)学務部長ソナム・ワングモ氏の4名が, 京都大学ブータン友好プログラムの一環で京都大学に招聘された. 2012年9月26日松本紘京都大学総長とペマ・ティンレーブータン王立大学総長は会談を持ち, 固く握手を交わし, 両校の友好関係のさらなる発展を誓い合った. ブータン王立大学との折衝及び滞在中のアレンジに際しては, 京都大学霊長類研究所の松沢哲郎氏, 同大学東南アジア研究所の松林公蔵氏を中心とする京都大学友好プログラムの世話役の皆様, 同大学霊長類研究所の酒井道子氏, 小野一代氏, ブータン旅行会社ローメンツアーズのカルチュン・ワンチュク氏, ブータン王立大学総長秘書ワンチュク・デム氏など多くの方々のご尽力があった.

From September 24th to 29th, 2012, honored guests from Royal University of Bhutan (RUB) visited Kyoto University, organized by Kyoto University Bhutan Friendship Program. The members from RUB were as follows: Pema Thinley, Vice Chancellor of Royal University of Bhutan; Lungtaen Dorji, Director of Institute of Language and Culture Studies; Cheki Dorji, Director of College of Science and Technology; and Sonam Wangmo, Dean of Student Affairs of Sherubtse College. On September 26th, 2012, they had a meeting with Hiroshi Matsumoto, President of Kyoto University and strengthened the ties between the two universities. The day became a significant day in the history of friendship between Japan and Bhutan.
