日・仏・独の地方都市における鉄軌道駅周辺の高齢者の人口分布に関する研究

Abstract

日本の地方都市では、郊外化の進展に伴い交通弱者である高齢者にとっては移動が困難な状況となっている。コンパクトシティ構想の実現のためには鉄軌道のサービスレベルの向上が重要であるが、高齢者の人口分布と鉄軌道駅の整備の関係性を明らかにした研究はない。そこで本研究では、日・仏・独において高齢者の人口分布と鉄軌道駅の空間データを構築することで、運行頻度の高低による鉄軌道駅周辺の高齢者の人口分布の違いについて把握した。その結果、フランスやドイツに比べ、日本では高齢者が多く居住する地域において運行頻度の高い鉄軌道駅が少ないことを明らかにした。また、運行頻度が高くなるにつれ、駅周辺に居住する高齢者人口は増加していき、高齢者割合は減少していく傾向があることを明らかにした。さらに、日本では、鉄軌道駅の周辺では高齢者人口は増加しなくなってきており、その傾向は運行頻度が高い駅ほど強いことを明らかにした。

In local cities of Japan, suburbanization makes moving difficult for aged People. Making train service level better is important for formation of compact city. However, there is no study that clarifies the relationship between aged population distribution and promotion of train stations. Then we constructed the spatial date of aged population distribution and train stations in Japan, France and Germany to understand the aged population distribution around stations according to train frequency. As a result, compared with France and Germany, there are less stations with high train frequency in high aged population density areas in Japan. Then, as train frequency is high, there is a trend that aged population around stations increases and percentage of aged population decreases. Finally, in Japan, aged population around stations has not been increasing, and the trend is strong instations with high train frequency.
