<実践報告>サービス・ラーニングによる集団的な教育実践における学習評価と実践評価のあり方

Abstract

本研究は大学のサービス・ラーニング科目における学習評価と実践評価の相即に迫ったものである。2011年度から2015 年度における立命館大学サービスラーニングセンターによる教養科目「シチズンシップ・スタディーズ I」を事例に取り上げた。経験学習は、学習者が何らかの活動を通して学習することであり、各種の実践から多様な学びを得るものである。本研究では、国際的な開発援助プログラムの評価の際に用いられるロジックモデルを参考に、対象に介入する主体の動態に関心を向けることで、経験学習の教育プログラムにおける実践活動の行為者としての評価(実践評価)と学習活動の対象者としての評価(学習評価)のあり方を示した。学習評価と実践評価の両面から鑑みれば、経験学習においては定型的な展開モデルを措定できないと明らかにした。すなわち教職員、学生、受入団体の緊密な連携には、学習の意味と実践の価値に対する対話が不可欠である。

The purpose of this paper is to consider the relationships between assessment for learning and assessment of Learning in service-learning programs. We investigate how to assess students, learning and development, and how educational practice affects the field by using the example of the course entitled "Citizenship Studies 1, " provided by the Service Learning Center at Ritsumeikan University. Experiential learning goes beyond standardized learning to explore diverse learning. We examined the logical model of practice assessment and found it was inflexible and less relevant/useful. Both learning assessment and practice assessment need to consider how representative and relevant student learning is, given the diversity of the learning community. Through meaningful dialogue on student learning in learning assessment and practice assessment, the three actors––higher education (faculty and staff), students, and citizens––can develop in a mutually beneficial and sustainable manner.
