吳郡から洛陽へ : 西晉統一王朝における陸機・陸雲

Abstract

As Western Jin (265-316) was established through the abdication of the sovereign of the previous dynasty and soon unified China, it paid high attention to the issues of the recluses (yimin 逸民) and the Five Orders of Feudal Nobility (wudeng zhuhou zhi 五等諸侯制). Coming to the capital Luoyang from their homeland Wujun, the brothers of Lu Ji (261-303) and Lu Yun (262-303) were conscious of the significance of these issues, and respectively wrote "An Ode of Recluses" 逸民賦 and "A Treatise on the Five Orders of Feudal Nobility" 五等諸侯論. By doing this, the brothers aimed to join the mainstream of the thoughts in the court of Western Jin, together with other scholars and philosophers, so as to make the dynasty proudly sit among other great dynasties in the history of China.
