<論説>山東竜山文化の編年と類型 : 土器を中心として

Abstract

これまでの山東竜山文化の研究においては、時間及び空間的変化はまだ正確にはあきらかにされていない。特に、一つの遺跡での前後関係を山東竜山文化全体の編年とした欠点が著しい。本稿は、山東竜山文化編年と類型の問題を解明することを目的とし、山東竜山文化の分布地域を五つの地区に分けて、各地区の代表的な遺跡から出土した土器群を層位学的、型式学的に分析する作業を通じて、山東竜山文化の編年を全体的に検討することを試みた。その結果として、高柄杯、[キ]、[ゲン]、鼎等の代表的な土器を基準として、山東竜山文化が五つの時期に分けられた。さらにこの新しい編年案に基づいて、同時期における土器群の特徴をつかみ、山東竜山文化を十七の異なる類型に区分することができた。これによって、山東竜山文化の展開の不均衡性や空間の変化の流動性の特徴をはっきり示すことができた。この山東竜山文化の時間と空間の変化は黄河の氾濫による可能性があると推測したい。これらの基本的な課題の解明にともない、前出する大[ブン]口文化および後出する岳石文化あるいは、中原地域に分布する二里頭文化との関係についての大きな示唆が得られた。

So far, the temporal and spatial changes in Longshan culture in the province of Shandong in China have yet to be properly clarified. In particular, there is a marked tendency to take the chronology of a single site and treat it as the chronology of Longshan culture as a whole. In order to elucidate the chronology and the distribution of Longshan culture, the Shandong Longshan cultural area is divided into five areas in this paper. Through a stratigraphic and typological analysis of assemblages of pottery excavated from representative sites in the five areas, the various stages of Shandong Longshan culture are examined. The chronology of Shandong Longshan culture can be divided into five periods using gaobingbei, gui, yan, ding and other standard pottery types as a basis. Subsequently, by means of this new chronology, seventeen different distributions of Shandong Longshan culture can be classified by grasping the characteristics of the pottery of each period. The characteristics of unbalanced development and fluidity of space which characterized Shandong Longshan culture are thereby clearly indicated. It is possible that the temporal and spatial changes in Shandong Longshan culture were caused by flood of the Yellow River.
