| 抄録: | The integrable discrete nonlinear Schrödinger equation was introduced by Ablowitz-Ladik. We study the initial value problem for the defocusing version of the equation. The solution shows different asymptotic behaviors in three regions |n|/t < 2, |n|/t approx 2 and |n|/t > 2. The present article is meant to be a short introduction to nonlinear steepest descent. |
