| 抄録: | This paper presents a formulation and a quantitative assessment of building fire risk to note a lesson learned from the Kyoto Animation office fire that was caused by arson in 2019 and resulted in 36 deaths; that is, the importance of designing staircases as fire compartments to protect occupants from smoke at an early stage of fire. |
