眼内レンズ縫着術実施症例の増加 : レセプト情報・特定健診等情報(NDB)オープンデータを用いた全数調査

Abstract

目的と方法: 厚生労働省により公開されている，2014年度～2018年度のレセプト情報・特定健診等情報(NDB)オープンデータを用いて，白内障手術および眼内レンズ縫着術による保険請求の全数調査を行った．結果: 年度ごとの眼内レンズ縫着術の請求件数は5年間で10, 133件から13, 898件まで37%増加し，全白内障手術に占める割合も0.72%から0.94%まで増加していた．外来での実施割合は，全白内障手術で50.6%から57.0%への増加を示す一方, 眼内レンズ縫着術では19.5%から20.4%への増加にとどまった．結論: 最近5年間で眼内レンズ縫着術を要する症例が増加していた．

[Purpose and methods：] We conducted a comprehensive study of insurance claims concerning cataract surgery and intraocular lens suturing from 2014 to 2018 based on open data from the National Database of Health Insurance Claims and Specific Health Checkups of Japan（ NDB）, published by the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare. [Results：] During the 5year period, the number of claims concerning intraocular lens suturing increased by 37％ from 10, 133 to 13, 898, and the percentage of total cataract surgeries increased from 0.72％ to 0.94％. The percentage of outpatient operations increased for all cataract surgeries（from 50.6％ to 57.0％）；however, it did not change for intraocular lens suturing（from 19.5％ to 20.4％）. [Conclusion：] In the last 5 years, the number of cases requiring intraocular lens suturing has increased.
