現代において悪と出逢うということ --集団という状況下での“個”の営みに着目して--

Abstract

本論では, 集団における悪の働きやその時代性について検討を行った。まず, 悪の背景には認識の範疇では捉えきれない“力”があると考えられ, その“力”と関係を作っていくための器としての悪の機能が想定された。そして集団は, 従来自然が持っていたその“力”に対峙するために形成されたものだと考えられるが, 集団化の過程で人間の心的機能は退行し, 暴力性が問題になることが分かっている。その背景には, “力”への恐れから集団に同一化して, 悪の定位さえも集団というマクロな主体に委ねてしまう機序が考えられた。さらに, 悪と影の異同について論じる中で, いかに個人が主体的体験に基づく悪を見出していくかが重要であり, そのためには, 個人が自らの周りに存在する悪の持つ否定性を否定することが必要であると考えられた。それは, 個人の成熟への契機を有する生命力あふれる悪との出逢いに通じ, 臨床場面においても有意義であることが示唆された。

This article reviews the functions of badness in a group, and considers the influence by the change of time. First, it is assumed that there is a “power” that cannot be captured with our cognition in the background of badness. It is suggested that badness functions to maintain the connection with “power”. People organized groups to confront nature, but it became clear that they can degenerate into primitive psychological structures with violent characters in the group. It is because people have the mechanism that invests the group with a right of establishing own badness to escape from the threat of “power”. In the argument of badness and shadow, it is important to discover the badness that an individual has subjective experience. In addition, furthermore, an individual needs negating the negativity in badness around him to mature. These are meaningful in clinical situations that an individual seizes an opportunity to have a relationship with viable badness with development of mind.
