コラージュ表現についての考察 : コラージュの制作の仕方にみる対象とのかかわり方

Abstract

Collage in art involves cutting pictures and putting them on a paper. With collage, we use the mechanism of projection and organization. This paper affirms that through one's artwork, we can see how a person commits to his/her inner or outer world. First, some meanings of collage expressions were stated. Second, an investigation was conducted on 40 university students. The results display the subjects experience with collage work: catharsis, planning, unusualness and relation of their way of commitment to the world and their own experience. Particularly, it paid attention to their making and planning methods. "Bottom Up" method and "Top Down" methods were proposed. "Bottom Up" method is to feel more from the object and "Top Down" method is to feel more from subject. The difference between these two methods is the difference between the user's way of commitments to the world. And these methods are concerned with why they choose the items that they used. And bottom up method was concerned with how satisfied they have been in their artwork.
