健康科学と研究―健康人間学研究会100回に憶う―

Abstract

The educational study group of College of Medical Technology, Kyoto University started up "Health Anthropology Society" to research health and the various problems concerning health in 1987. It was groping to the problem of newly born, because a modern medicine advanced even to the area where the intellect was exceeded like organ transplant, reproduction, and gene therapy, etc.. Establishment of health science, equipping of the foundation of "Faculty of Healthy Science" and the graduate school was planned. The society was regularly held, and research magazine "Health Anthropology" was started. The health science is a new field where man's health is treated, and the problem of the quantity and quality of life is researched for various phenomena seen in life. And, College of Medical Technology became School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine in 16 years. The society was held 100 times, and 15 research magazine volumes were issued in 16 years. The object of research in the health science is a subjectivity of the object, intuition of the life, and man's health. "Health Anthropology" started running aiming at "the Agora of Health Science" now.
