抄録: | According to the periodicity theory of hearing, every section of the basilar membrane, independent of its place, is able to perform a frequency analysis and to determine pitch by means of the periodicity of the vibrations of that section. Similarly for speech signal the outputs of a filter bank may have the periodicity corresponding to the pitch period. Pitch was extracted by combining logically the output voltages, proportional to pitch, which were obtained from each channel of the filter bank by peak detection method. |
