| 抄録: | Regarding undergraduate education, governmental university establishment standards were revised to mandate implementation of the Faculty Development (FD) system from fiscal 2008. In view of the background and the current situation, the system, already been widely accepted, must be altered so as to yield more productive results. To that end, it is vital that the government, in valuing the independence and autonomy of each university and in acknowledging the significance of the role of the community of universities, provides support to each university. |
