| Abstract: | Eighty-six species of cultivated plants used in traditional medicine by the inhabitants of Kabondo (Kisangani, Zaire) are reported from surveys conducted among 55 healers and practitioners. The medicinal uses are given for each species with regards to the disease treated, part of plant used, directions for preparation and administration. |
