分岐部周辺における流れの水理特性について

Abstract

Experiments on Y-formed dividing flow were carried out in order to clear the influences ofthe shape of junction and of the Froude number.It was made clear that the differences of the shape of junction and of the Froude numberproduce a change in the degree of development of a secondary flow and in the size of the separa-tion region; consequently the dividing discharge ratio and sediment discharge ratio are forcedto undergo a change.A semi-theoretical method for the calculation of the dividing discharge ratio which impliesthe influences of the shape of junction and the Froude number, was presented on the basis ofenergy consideration. The predicted values show a good agreement with the experimental ones.
