| 抄録: | On October 16, 1979 the shallow earthquake (M 4.9) occurred in early morning near HanaoreFault located at north-western Shiga Prefecture. The questionnaire suvey was curried out onthis earthquake.According to the survey, there were many people who heard the sound just before the earth-quake. These persons live in a cetain place around the focal region. And many people felt thestrong vertical motion were also in the same area. This area coiccides with the place appearedthe dominant amplitude of P wave derived from the mechanism of this earthquake.Those questionnaire survey gives one of good references to the research of the damages causedby the historical large earthquakes. |
