Abstract: Remote sensing system for the temperature profiles in the planetary boundary layer fromthe ground was developed. This system consists of a microwave radiometer, an acousticsounder (doppler sodar), a measurement system for surface meteorological elements and adata processing system. The retrieval of temperature profiles using the statistical inversionmethod is simulated.
