Abstract: We derive equations of micropolar fluid mechanics from gas kinetic theory of inelastic particles. The derived result of micropolar fluid is applied to explain a collisional flow on an inclined surface and the result is quantitatively good. We also discuss anomalous behaviors of hydrodynamics of the Maxwellian model
