睾丸腫瘍の統計的観察

Abstract

1) Clinical and statistical observations were made on n ine cases of testicular tumors experienced during the years 1956 to 1960. 2) Incidence of tumor of the test i s was 0.27% of all the urological patients of that period (3251), and 0.54% of all the male patients (1999). 3) Age of the patients ranged from 8 months t o 71 years, average of them being 38.1 years. 4) Period from the onset of symptoms to their hospital visit was one to 24 months, and the average was 8.6 months. 5) Chief complaint w a s enlargement of the testis in eight of them. 6) Literatures were reviewed as to tumor of the testis, and d i s cussions were made on its pathogenesis, pathohistology, treatment and prognosis.
