Abstract

Twenty testicular tumors were experienced at the Department of Urology, Nagoya National Hospital during six years, 1963 to 1968. 1. Incidence: Male urology patients during the same period numbered 8, 841, and 0.23 per cent of which were testicular tumors. 2. Age: The youngest patient was 13-month-old, and the oldest 60 years. Seven of 20 cases were seen in boys under the age of 15. 3. Affected side: Right side 11, left side 9. 4, Pathohistology: 12 seminoma, 1 seminoma-embryonal carcinoma-teratoma, 3 immature teratoma, 2 mature teratoma, 2 embryonal carcinoma. 5. Treatment: 13 orchiectomy plus irradiation, 7 orchiectomy only. 6. Prognosis: As of January 31, 1969, all the cases are alive. Five of them were followed up more than five years, 5 were 3 to 5 years, 7 were 1 to 3 years, and 3 were within one year.
