奈良医大泌尿器科における進行膀胱癌の治療成績

Abstract

Since 1962, 35 cases of advanced cancer of the urinary bladder were treated with immuno-chemotherapy. The patients in whom this therapy was discontinued because of marked side effects were excluded from this report. Single or combined administration with chromomycin A3, cyclophosphamide, mitomycin C, 5-fluorouracil, 1-(2-tetrahydrofuryl)-5-fluorouracil, adriamycin and OK-432 were examined. Intravenous, intraarterial, oral and transrectal administration were performed, otherwise cases given intracavitary were excluded from this report. According to the criteria by Karnofsky, 35 cases were classified as follows 17 cases of 0-0, 6 cases of 0-A, 5 cases of 0-B, 4 cases of 0-C and 3 cases of 1-A. Cases of combined administration with mitomycin C, 1-(2-tetrahydrofuryl)-5-fluorouracil, adriamycin and OK-432 showed relatively effective results.
