自動車産業サプライチェーンにおける東日本大震災のインパクト分析

Abstract

The east Japan great earthquake has revealed fatal weak points of the supply chain management (SCM) employed by Japanese industries. The observed disconnections of supply chain are now recognized as one of critical operational risks, in particular, for Japanese automobile industry. The authors will discuss, by focusing on the Japanese automobile industry, i) structural features of the production and supply chains of the Japanese automobile industry by reviewing the experience of the east Japan great earthquake, and ii) possible model development for simulating the production and supply activities of the industry.
