自己の生成における異質性についての考察－自我体験・病・あざを通して－

Abstract

本論文では，自己の生成において異質性がいかに働くのかについて，自我体験・病・あざという異質性の在り方の異なる3つのものから考察をした。まず，自我体験は一過性の体験であるがゆえに対象化することができるようになるという点が特徴であった。そしてその体験を契機とした心的過程が自己の生成につながっていると考えられた。次に，病は自我体験と異なり，対象化することが難しいという点が特徴であった。自己の生成においては“苦しみ”によって，病についての“自分のもの”という感覚が生じてくるのではないかと考えられた。さらにあざについては，以下のことが特徴的であると考えられる。つまり，あざをもつ人は身体的に苦しむことがないことはないが，他者と異なる見た目をもたらすということである。したがって，あざを抱える人は，個としての自分が意識されると考えられた。治療者は異質性からもたらされる心理的な苦しみに深く共感しているべきである。さらに，治療者は異質性の両価性を理解し，それぞれの人にとっての重要性について考えいくべきである。This paper discusses how strangeness functions in the establishment of self by three different contents of strangeness, i.e., ego-experiences, illness, and birthmarks. First, ego-experiences are featured by which can be objectified because they are temporary experiences. In addition, it is suggested that subsequent psychological processes will lead to the establishment of self. Illness is difficult to objectify. In addition, it is suggested that we can recognize an illness as one’s own by suffering from it. Finally, birthmarks have the following features. Those with birthmarks do not physically suffer from them, but birthmarks often make them visually different from others. Therefore, it is suggested that they recognize themselves as having an independent existence from others. Psychological therapists should sympathize with their mental suffering caused by strangeness. In addition, they should also understand the ambivalence of strangeness and think about the significance of strangeness for each individual.
