抄録: The present study was undertaken to examine the relationship between ego states and their evaluation of nursing practice in care units for adult and geriatric patients in chronic stages. The subjects of this study were seventy-nine students in the third grade at Nursing Subdivision of the K University College of Medical Technology. Their ego states were assessed by the TEG, and analyzed in reference to their evalution of nursing practice. The following results were obtained: 1 . Students in high evaluation levels of nursing practice had significantly higher scores in category A of TEG than those in low levels. 2 . Many students in high evaluation levels had flat egogram pattern. 3 . Most students in low evaluation levels had a pattern of low A scores. These results suggest that the category A scores in egogram are closely related to the achievement levels in nursing practice.
