Depropanexの泌尿器科的応用,特に尿管結石症に於けるlooped catheter法との併用について

Abstract

DEPROPANEX - deproteinated pancreatic t i s sue extract - was used for the relief of 4 cases of renal and ureteral pain from various causes, such as the presense of calculi, or the introduction of contrast media for retrograde pyelography, and the benefical effect of the drug in lessening or abolishing pain was proved. In 7 ca s es of ureteral calculi DEPROPANEX alone or with looped catheter management were used. Three patients passed their stone without instrumental aid, but in 2 of these 3 cases the passage of stone occurred about a month after the DEPROPANEX therapy. In one case operat ion had to be performed. Thus, in no single instance can we say with certainty that DEPROPANEX was actively responsible for passage of a stone. Three cases were successful in extracting calculi w i th looped catheter management, and DEPROPANEX therapy seemed of advantage when insinuating the catheter past a particularly resistant impacted calculus because of relaxation of spasms at the ureteral wall.
