結核性尿管狭窄に由来した水腎或は結核性膿腎に対する皮膚尿管瘻或は腎瘻術の効果について

Abstract

Hydronephrosis or pyonephrosis, secondary to the ureter a l stricture by tuberculous ureteritis, is not uncommon. When the stricture occurs in a case with unilateral kidney after nephrectomy of the associated kidney or when the stricture occurs in bilateral ureter, the renal function is markedly disturbed. Then such ureteral stricture will be followed by unbalance of the blood electrolytes with deterioration of the general condition. In such cases, the drainage of the urine from renal pelvis by cutaneous ureterostomy or nephrostomy will secure the renal function. The unbalance of the blood electrolytes is apt to disappear soon after the surgery and it might also be expected to bring a healing of the renal destruction.
